I asked for a quote for some work in my home in October - various repairs, replace radiators, install shower and a couple of other bits. Someone came round and looked at the jobs and promised a quote in a few days. Christmas came and went. No quote. I contacted the representative (who was very polite and pleasant), who replied saying they had been busy, due to cold weather. I said that was fine, but could I have the quote? I waited and waited, then messaged again in February (I'm disabled, and find using a phone very difficult). Finally the quote arrived. I accepted it and asked for a date to start work. No reply. I waited, then emailed again. The reply asked for a time to call me. I repeated that I have difficulties using a phone and would prefer email or text. Nothing. Now giving up. I'm sure there are companies who want work - I just got the impression that what I wanted was simply too much trouble to be bothered with - which is fine, if someone says so, but as it is, I've now wasted several months. It's not as if I was demanding anything excessive - I even offered to discuss the shower with the plumber to ensure that installation was practical and not too difficult. All seemed disorganised and unwilling to do jobs which might have been hard work. Maybe fine for leaks and bread and butter jobs, but I'm just sick of having my time wasted. PS. I have all the emails, and can easily add exact dates to all this - just didn't want to flick from one to the other. If I've made a mistake with ant of them, apologies. I know the saga began several months ago and I've finally given up - after a Winter with a couple of broken radiators and a useless shower room.

I needed an Air Source Heat Pump removing as it had been installed by a different company that took no responsibility for it and did an appalling installation.

Before the Christmas I just call for quote a water main pipe investigation. On the phone call there is no confirmation about the day and time for me. They said that will have a email confirm about that. Finally there is no email, no phone call. One month later a plumber suddenly coming to my house said do the investigation……. and need I pay for £60 and do nothing. It's a deceitful plumbing company
